After recovering from a 2AM (!) start time, Stewart, Cameron and Scott sat down a little later to discuss the Sony E3 conference. Some felt that their E3 presence this year was a somewhat muted, especially compared to the bombastic hardware reveals of Microsoft and the occasional madness that was Ubisoft’s conference, but there were still some nice surprises!
While Scott found Days Gone to be a little too The Last of Us, the announcement of a full remake (not just remaster!) of Shadow of the Colossus elicited genuine excitement from all of us. The expected Horizon: Zero Dawn DLC, The Frozen Wilds, is sure to be a fan-favourite here at Ready Up, and we’re expecting great things from Insomniac’s take on Spiderman. Other highlights included Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Call of Duty WWII, Playstation VR, God of War, and David Cage’s (not David Crane’s) Detroit: Become Human.
